"From Dusk Til Dawn" is now officially open for submissions!

Visionary Press Cooperative Romance is officially open for submissions to the “From Dusk Til Dawn” anthology. The deadline is midnight February 28, 2014. Submissions have already started to arrive and I must admit, I am super excited about our first romance anthology!  Also, there is now a link for the general submission guidelines.
Just a reminder, the sub-genre is author’s choice. You can write a sweet love story, a sexy bone chilling romance laced with horror, or a toe-curling, heavy breathing erotica tale. But as the title suggests, one or more of your characters should most definitely be a being that roams the earth under the protection of the night. Which one? Well, it’s your story, surprise me.

Submissions should be sent to - quinn.visionarypressromance@gmail.com

So, all of you romance authors out there, send me your stories. Excite me, rock my world!

Visionary Press Cooperative Romance – First Call For Submissions

Here’s some exciting news for all you romance authors out there. My first project as Director of Romance at Visionary Press Cooperative is an anthology. Titled “From Dusk Til Dawn”, the sub-genre is author’s choice. As VPC already has a Valentine’s Day release date planned for “The Bloody book of Grotesque Love”, my plan is to be ready for an early summer release, a sensual book just in time for those sizzling hot summer nights. Submissions for “From Dusk Til Dawn” will open starting February 1, 2014 through February, closing midnight on February 28, 2014.
I’m still working on getting VPC/Romance submission guidelines posted here, there will a link available before the first submissions are due. For now, word count 3000 - 8000 words, please make sure your manuscript is Word.doc or .Rtf formats and sent as an attachment to your email. Font should be Times New Roman, 12 point, double line spaced, one inch margins and page breaks between chapters. Please include your author bio in the body of your email along with links to your author webpage/blog and a brief synopsis of your work.
Submission should be mailed to quinn.visionarypressromance@gmail.com

Quinn Cullen - Visionary Press Cooperative's Director of Romance

As Visionary Press Cooperative’s newly appointed Director of Romance I’d like to thank the Visionary Press members for welcoming me into the Visionary Press family. And for those of you whom I haven’t yet gotten to know, let me tell you a little about myself.
I was born in Sweden. My family traveled quite often between the United States and Sweden throughout my childhood. By the time I was fifteen years old I’d been across the Atlantic Ocean seventeen times. I settled down in Massachusetts in 1976, where I currently reside. I have four great kids, all grown, and three beautiful grandchildren, two more on the way.
I have an odd sense of humor and I joke around a lot. I am a tattoo addict, I could never have enough of them. One of my favorite artists and tattoo flash designer is David Bolt. I have a passion for antique and classic cars, camping and snowstorms.
I worked in early childhood education for twenty-four years but in 2011, I made a career change. I now drive a school bus.
I write poetry and fiction, ranging from horror, romance, erotica, to the paranormal. I began writing my first book, The Angelic in 2009. A paranormal romance/mild erotica novel, I hope to publish it sometime this year. I am currently, after many requests to lengthen it, working on rewriting and expanding my story The Magic of Moon Light, formerly published as a short story titled Bipedal.

My favorite authors, just to mention a few, are - Blaze McRob, Heath Stallcup, Lori R. Lopez, Todd Card, William Cook, Stephen King, John Grisham, Mary Stewart, J.K. Rowling, Ann Rice, Stephanie Meyer, Sherrilyn Kenyon, Tessa Dawn, Dina Rae, Lisa Olsen, Carole Gill, Becca Boucher and J.R. Ward. I could go on and on. So, that’s me, Quinn Cullen, in a nutshell.
